Associate - Trust & Estate Disputes (3-4 PQE) | London | Top-ranked team | High-quality contentious work
This is a chance to join a renowned, top-ranked Trust & Estate Disputes team in London that is looking to hire an Associate at around 3-4 years' PQE as part of its continued growth.
This is a specialist contentious role, sitting within one of the strongest private client disputes practices in the market.
The work is exclusively focused on Contentious Trusts and Estates, including complex estate and trust disputes and Court of Protection matters. As such, this role will suit a lawyer who has already built solid, hands-on experience in this area and is keen to deepen their expertise within a leading team.
The team is well known for acting on high-value, sensitive and often multi-jurisdictional disputes, and for providing a genuinely supportive, collegiate environment alongside first-rate technical work. It's an excellent platform for an associate who wants to develop a long-term career in private client disputes without sacrificing quality of life.
The role offers:
- A position within a top-ranked, market-leading Trust & Estate Disputes practice
- High-quality Contentious Trusts & Estates and Court of Protection work
- Exposure to complex, high-value matters and excellent client contact
- A collaborative, friendly and highly professional team culture
- Strong remuneration aligned with leading City / top-tier firms
- Clear scope for development and progression within a specialist practice
This opportunity would suit an associate currently at a top-tier or ranked firm who is looking to refine their specialism, work closely with recognised leaders in the field, and be part of a genuinely high-calibre disputes practice.
The Firm
In recent years, this Top 60 firm has substantially grown, with a team of over 70 partners and 500+ staff members, the firm is a key player in the London legal landscape.
Its enviable client base means solicitors are exposed to high-quality, intellectually engaging work that is both challenging and professionally rewarding. The culture is collegiate and supportive, with a strong emphasis on integrity and collaboration and it's clear that their people enjoy working together.
The firm looks for solicitors who are not only technically strong, but who will thrive as part of a close-knit, team-oriented environment. They deal with the same quality of work as much larger City firms without all the disadvantages associated with being a small cog in a big machine.
You will find a creative, supportive, dynamic, forward-thinking and progressive culture where they invest heavily in their people, with industry-leading training providing a real platform for professional development and career progression.
There is a good work-life balance culture at this firm, with a 1300 chargeable hours target and hybrid working only requiring 2-3 days in the office per week and moreover, there is an excellent social scene firm-wide with sports clubs and various social events!
