Charlie Simpkin - Director - London

Charlie is a Co-Owner and Director of JMC Legal Recruitment, specialising in the London legal market covering West End, City, International and US law firms. Charlie has a proven track record of placing high-calibre lawyers at all levels, from Solicitor/Associates and Senior Associates to Legal Directors and Partners. 

He spends much of his time working on discreet and targeted mandates at Partner level. A recent notable appointment includes securing the first externally recruited full equity partner for a London-headquartered Top 50 UK law firm in over a decade. 

His approach is highly consultative, taking the time to understand the ambitions of candidates and the specific requirements of each firm before developing a tailored search strategy. Charlie combines his extensive experience and strong understanding of the London legal market, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering a high-quality, personalised service to both clients and candidates.

Outside of work he enjoys socialising, watching live music and sometimes finds the time to play his guitar. He enjoys keeping fit and spends plenty of his spare time with his Dachshund, Nacho.
