The firm has experienced significant growth over the last 24 months and has experienced a 50 % increase in revenue since 2018. They also now stand at over 500 fee earners with 8 offices across the South West and the Midlands. With consistent growth since 2013, now is the time to join this heavy-hitting, commercially minded giant of a law firm.
The firm is a full-service law firm but has particular expertise across Real Estate, Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Private Client work.

They also have a good structure in which they separate the senior management team from the fee earners so that Solicitors can focus on technical law rather than finance and management.
About the Role
The firm is seeking to hire a new Construction Partner (ideally contentious) to join an ever-growing Real Estate team which makes up a large chunk of the business. You will work on a diverse number of sectors for the firm's existing client base including;

The Construction department deals with an exceptional quality of work. You will deal with both mainly contentious but also some aspect of non-contentious work making for a more interesting role. The department has a leading reputation nationally for the quality of work with many Partners being ranked as "Leaders in their field". The department works across a broad range of industry sectors but with a particular focus on property development, infrastructure and strategic land development. The work will be broad and include;

You will be at the forefront of a growing department leading the team alongside the other Partners. This would be an ideal step up for a candidate in a top-heavy department seeking a route to Partnership.
You will work within a well-respected department, alongside a highly experienced team.
You will be a Construction Lawyer with at least 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)Experience of managing a team is to advantage, but not essentialA portable client base of some degree isn't essential, but highly preferredExperience of construction claims, outsourcing, procurement, contracts, planning and strategic land is beneficialExcellent client care skills are essential
