Legal Counsel | Leading Telecoms Provider | Central London

This is an exciting opportunity to join this international Telecoms provider as their global operations continue to expand. The business work with governments, transport authorities and telecoms operators in order to provide high-quality and efficient communications infrastructure.

You will be taking on a range of commercial legal responsibilities, working with suppliers, business partners and customers to ensure the businesses legal function is moving in the right direction.


The Business

This business is a leading Telecoms specialist headquartered in London, with an increasing presence in Europe and APAC. The business offers advanced, cost-effective, end-to-end solutions to ensure that all of their customers have optimum levels of connectivity within each of their networks.

The quality of their product, level of performance and customer care has allowed them to create many long-standing customer relationships which they continue to nourish and progress alongside the advancement of technology within the Telecoms sector.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral part within the legal function of this international Telecoms provider.

You will be joining a team of 3 based in the UK, reporting to the Head of Legal and helping to manage the Junior Counsel. You will be responsible for a mixed bag of commercial responsibilities, incl; commercial contracts, procurement, GDPR, corporate and property.

The majority of contracts work you will be tackling will be high-value and complex, with a wide-range of customers, such as local, regional and national governments, telecoms providers, transports authorities and much more. You will also be leading on construction contracts, maintenance and professional services contracts.

There will also be the opportunity for you to lead on business development during the businesses' continued international expansion, as well as supporting on corporate governance and compliance activities.

Requirements

  • 3 PQE and UK SRA qualified
  • Experience within Telecoms is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hyper scaling company
