This Top 30 International Law Firm is looking for a Pensions Funds & Contentious Trusts Associate, 1-6 years PQE, to work within their market-leading City of London practice.

You will work within a Legal 500 ranked department, within a team recognised for its strategic importance and will be given a great deal of responsibility within a growing practice. The Role

• The team has acted in many of the leading cases in the pensions and private wealth industries and before the highest courts.
• The team's clients range from pension scheme trustees to sponsoring employers; high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and dynastic families to the trustees and advisers who support them, from multi-nationals and banks to charities and not-for-profits; from actuaries and scheme administrators to lawyers and documentation providers.
• The team also has particular expertise in pursuing and defending professional negligence claims in relation to advice given in the context of both pension schemes and private trusts, which advice can range from the provision of legal, actuarial, consultancy and administration services to tax and investment consultancy services.

Requirements

• You will be a Solicitor, 1-6 years PQE, with experience dealing with Pensions funds and contentious Trusts
• Good organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm for intellectually challenging work.
• Excellent client relationship skills and experience in business development.
