The Role

This firm is seeking a Finance Director who has experience working at board room level to analyse the accounts, business, put a plan in place and make recommendations moving forward.

Prior experience working in a law firm is essential. You will be tasked with advising on the best strategy and recommendation on how best to move forward. Involvement working with Legal Aid is highly desired.

Among other duties, your responsibilities will include:

- Reporting up to board room level
- Analysing business performance
- Making recommendations on strategies moving forward
- Streamlining internal processes
- Maintaining organisation and up to date records
- Prior experience working within Legal Aid

You will work closely with the firm's managers to maintain, improve and implement compliance procedures and provide training to create awareness and engagement across the board.

It is essential that you have up to date knowledge of risk and compliance requirements and have a proven track record in a law firm or in-house legal team.

Requirements:

Understanding of SRA, FCA, GDRD, POCA and BSI/Lexcel requirements
Highly personable and proven ability to influence others in a positive way
Excellent communication and client service skills
