You will be a Sole Legal Counsel, delivering legal service and advice to the business and CEO on key projects. Your work will be a varied and interesting caseload from drafting, negotiating and concluding B2B contracts with customers, distributors and suppliers to clearly communicating and advising the business on the commercial implications of complex agreements.

You will be overseeing the companies IP portfolio, data compliance, devising attack and defence strategies, managing and running commercial litigation as both plaintiff and defendant in conjunction with external legal resources and more. You will also be coordinating the internal collection and assembly of documentation in relation to disclosure requests and witness statements, reviewing and analysing the same prior to passing to the group's IP portfolio.

Preparing, reviewing, reporting upon and negotiating commercial contracts, including asset acquisitions and disposals; corporate acquisitions and disposals; equity funding and corporate finance aspects/company structuring; oil and gas concessions, licences and production sharing contracts (PSCs); joint operating agreements; contracts for the provision of goods and services to the Group including consultancy agreements; oil and gas related contracts and agreements (e.g. unitisation agreements, gas balancing agreements, transportation and processing agreements, pipeline agreements, oil and gas sales agreements, FPSO charters etc.)

You will also be supporting compliance and secretarial requirements of the Group subsidiaries
and managing regulatory and disclosure obligations and other compliance matters, such as announcements, in addition to supporting board and board committee meetings working with the management team.

Requirements:
