The Role

This is a standout opportunity to work at the cutting edge of the entertainment world, supporting some of the most high-profile and creative projects in film and television.

You'll collaborate with industry-leading lawyers on complex, often international transactions that shape what audiences see on screen.

You'll work closely with senior lawyers across the full spectrum of film and TV matters, including:

  • Advising producers, financiers, and studios on financing, production, and distribution deals.
  • Structuring and negotiating multi-party transactions, co-productions, and investment agreements.
  • Drafting and reviewing bespoke production and financing documentation.
  • Providing clear, strategic legal advice throughout the lifecycle of a project - from development to delivery.
  • Liaising with counterpart solicitors, clients, and key stakeholders to drive transactions forward.
  • Supporting partners with business development and client relationship initiatives.

What You'll Need to Bring

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales (NQ-3 PQE).
  • Experience in film, television, or media finance law (private practice or in-house).
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with a strong commercial instinct.
  • An ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with precision.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine enthusiasm for the entertainment sector.
  • Confidence engaging directly with clients and contributing to high-value transactions.
  • Interest in adopting new technologies, including responsible use of AI, to streamline workflow.

Why Join?

  • Industry-leading work, part of a team advising top-tier talent and major entertainment companies.
  • Collaborative environment and a high-performing group known for its supportive culture.
  • Professional growth in terms of clear progression opportunities in a practice that values initiative and development.
  • Hybrid flexibility with a balance of in-office collaboration and remote working (currently 3 days in-office).

This is a career-defining move for a lawyer with a passion for film and television who wants to work at the forefront of the industry.
