The Role

You will join a Legal 500 ranked Insolvency team with a strong reputation for contentious work, acting for a wide range of clients across multiple sectors

The role is predominantly focused on contentious insolvency matters, making up around 80% of your caseload. This includes advising on director duties, misfeasance claims, wrongful trading, recovery actions and wider insolvency related disputes.

The remaining work will include some non contentious advisory elements, providing a well rounded but disputes led role

You will work closely with highly regarded partners and senior lawyers, gaining hands on experience on complex and high value matters. The team acts for insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors and businesses, offering strong exposure to a high quality client base

This role is also well suited to strong commercial litigators with insolvency experience who are looking to move into a more specialist position within a leading team. There will be opportunities to build your own client relationships and collaborate with colleagues across the firm's international network

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in Insolvency or Commercial Litigation with relevant experience
• Strong technical ability with experience handling contentious matters
• Commercially minded with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
• Motivated to contribute to business development and team growth
• Collaborative and proactive in your approach
