Joe Bryant - Director - Regions

Joe is Regional Managing Director and one of the owners of JMC Legal, having joined the business in 2018. He heads up the Manchester City Centre office, leading its growth and working closely with law firms across the North West, from global Top 20 practices and national firms to strong regional players and specialist boutiques.

Joe works with lawyers at every stage of their careers. He advises Partners who have a business plan and are looking to make a lateral move to a platform where their practice can thrive, and supports Legal Directors and Of Counsel who are ready to make the step up to Partnership. He also works with Associates and Senior Associates, helping them find the right firm to progress and build their careers. His work spans Real Estate, Corporate, Commercial, Disputes, Private Client and Family, IP/TMT, Contentious Probate and Banking & Finance.

Alongside private practice, Joe works with businesses building and growing their in-house legal teams, recruiting Legal Counsel and General Counsel across sectors including heavyweight vehicle marketplaces, national financial advisers and international telecoms businesses.

Outside of work, Joe is a big sports fan and, despite having some of the world's best teams on his doorstep in Manchester, he continues to follow the trials and tribulations of Bristol Rovers FC. He also plays golf but refuses to disclose his handicap.
