Residential Property Senior Associate | 5+ PQE | Farnborough

This is an opportunity to step into a senior role within an award-winning residential property team, where you will combine hands-on fee earning with real influence over how work is delivered and relationships are managed. You will be supported by one of the largest and best-resourced property platforms in the South East, with the autonomy and trust expected at Senior Associate level.

The Role

You will operate as a senior member of a highly regarded conveyancing team, managing a high-quality residential caseload while acting as a point of reference for colleagues and clients.

Your work will span complex freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, high-value transactions, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and lease extensions, alongside new build, shared ownership and Help to Buy matters where appropriate. You will oversee files from instruction through to completion, setting the tone for client service and matter management.

Alongside your own caseload, you will play a visible role within the team, supporting and informally mentoring junior fee earners, contributing to workflow and helping maintain strong relationships with local agents, lenders and referrers. Where issues arise, you will work closely with colleagues across real estate, disputes and rural teams to deliver joined-up, commercial solutions.

About You

You are a senior residential property lawyer who enjoys responsibility, client ownership and being trusted to lead by example.

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • 5+ years' PQE in residential property
  • Strong experience handling complex conveyancing matters with minimal supervision
  • Confident overseeing a busy caseload while supporting junior colleagues
  • Excellent technical knowledge of conveyancing and title
  • Commercial, well organised and highly client focused

What's on Offer

This role offers the scale, stability and influence that senior residential property lawyers often look for, without the constraints of a purely volume-driven environment.

  • High-quality residential work including high-value, rural and equestrian property
  • A senior position within one of the South East's largest residential property teams
  • Support from specialist new build, real estate and property disputes teams
  • Established referral relationships and a strong local profile
  • Hybrid working with defined core hours and flexibility
  • Competitive senior-level salary, generous bonus and comprehensive benefits
  • Free on-site parking

The Firm

A Legal 500-ranked, award-winning regional firm with a market-leading property platform across the South East. The residential property team sits alongside highly regarded real estate, development and disputes practices, allowing senior lawyers to resolve issues in-house and deliver a consistently high standard of advice.
