The Role

This is the opportunity for a senior Property Litigator who has hit a ceiling in their current firm to step into a head of department role with full backing to grow it.

You will initially work within the existing litigation function before taking the reins of a dedicated Property Litigation offering, with the opportunity to recruit and shape the team around you over time.

The firm are looking for someone with strong commercial property litigation experience, with exposure to commercial clients being a distinct advantage.

Relevant experience across the following is desirable:

• Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Dilapidation claims
• Recovery of commercial rent arrears
• Breach of contract
• Preparation and service of notices

No following is required given the existing workflow, but an appetite for harnessing internal referrals and building relationships across the business will stand you in good stead.

• 8+ years PQE in Property Litigation
• Strong technical knowledge across commercial property disputes
• A strategic mindset with the ambition to lead and grow a team
