You will join an award winning and nationally recognised team of over 40 lawyers who specialise in real estate finance matters, including development finance, hotel finance, Islamic finance and mezzanine finance transactions in sectors such as hotels and leisure, PRS, student accommodation, logistics and offices. Advising on high-quality and complex property finance matters for clients such as HSBC, Barclays, Bank of London, HB Reavis, Bruntwood and many more!

The Role

As a Real Estate Finance Associate, you will support on a broad range of lender and borrower-side transactions, working closely with senior associates and partners throughout the lifecycle of matters. You will be assisting across due diligence, drafting and negotiating finance documentation, managing conditions precedent and liaising directly with clients and other advisers.

You will have exposure to the team's longstanding clientele of major banks, insurers, financial institutions, investors, developers, blue chip property companies and family offices on domestic and cross-broader real estate finance transactions across all real estate asset classes. Namely, advising a diverse client base ranging from leading developers and institutional investors to international banks and multinational corporates.

This is a role that offers genuine progression from the offset, as you develop, you will be encouraged to take on increasing responsibility, build client relationships and become a trusted member of deal teams. The firm places strong emphasis on technical excellence while also supporting associates in developing commercial awareness and confidence.

Requirements

  • England and Wales qualified solicitor with around 1 - 5 years' PQE.
  • Experience in real estate finance, banking or a closely related practice area.
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded with an interest in property-backed finance.
  • Keen to develop within a collaborative, high-performing team.
