You will be joining a collaborative national group of more than 60 employment specialists across offices in England & Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, working together on a wide range of complex and strategic matters.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 5+ years PQE to join the growing Employment team in the firm's London office.

This role offers the chance to manage a diverse and high-quality caseload, working closely with Partners and other Senior team members. The work will span both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a primary focus on representing respondents in employment tribunal claims.

You will be advising employers on a wide range of issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, restructurings, and redundancies. Additionally, supporting the firms high-regarded clients with employment-related documentation, such as drafting consultancy agreements, settlement agreements, staff handbooks, and providing guidance on outsourcing contracts and restrictive covenants.

With the clientele being widely diverse, ranging from small start-ups to large national corporations, such as; household named retailers, public funded companies and many more domestic and internationally organisations.

Alongside this, you'll have the chance to build and develop your own profile, with a strong emphasis on business development that will contribute to both your success and the team's growth. You'll also play a key role in supporting junior fee earners, providing supervision and guidance to help them thrive.

Requirements:

• Experienced Employment Solicitor with 5+ years PQE (England & Wales)
• Extensive experience across all areas of employment law, particularly advising large corporate clients
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
• A client-focused approach with the ability to nurture and maintain long-standing client relationships
• Proven experience in supervising and managing junior team members
• Ambition and drive to succeed as a senior member of the team, with a commitment to developing the firm's offering both locally and nationally
