The Team

The Corporate Regulatory team sits within the firm's wider Commercial Litigation department and advises a broad range of high-profile clients, particularly regulatory and governmental bodies, as well as organisations operating in heavily regulated sectors. The team specialises in complex corporate regulatory and compliance matters, supporting clients on evolving governance, responsibility and compliance obligations.

The practice is particularly well recognised within the parking management sector and is regularly involved in lobbying activity, media commentary and wider regulatory developments, making the work varied, fast paced and high profile.

The team is led by a highly regarded partner, recognised as a leading specialist within the UK parking sector and known for advising on complex regulatory and compliance matters. You will join an experienced and close-knit team, offering strong mentoring, high-quality work and genuine long-term progression opportunities.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity for a Corporate Regulatory Senior Associate with 6+ years' PQE to join their prestigious and growing team. Working with the firm's national client base, you will be working alongside exceptional lawyers, where your will drive further success for both your career and the firm.

You will manage, be involved and develop a variety of corporate regulatory and compliance matters, including:

• Large-scale Government consultations and regulatory obligations
• Corporate responsibility and reputation management matters
• Data protection and privacy compliance, including ICO guidance, audits and breach response
• Sector-specific compliance work, particularly within private land parking management, enforcement and lobbying activities
• Product safety and recall matters, advertising standards and gambling regulation
• Regulatory matters relating to the management of commercial land, including airports, ports and railways
• Supporting the growth of the practice and development of new client opportunities
• Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of the team

You will provide expert advice to clients across a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters, with a particular focus on data protection, privacy and evolving AI-related regulation and governance issues. As this area continues to develop at pace, the firm is committed to remaining at the forefront of regulatory change, offering the opportunity to build expertise within a rapidly growing and increasingly important sector.

Requirements:

• Experienced Solicitor with 6+ years PQE (England & Wales) with a strong experience across corporate regulatory issues, ideally with specific expertise in advising clients on the corporate responsibility, compliance and regulatory aspects relating to data protection
• An interest and knowledge of the developing AI landscape and its impact on corporate governance
• A passion for creative problem-solving, delivering neat and effective solutions to complex issues.
• Enthusiasm for business development and marketing, with an engaging, personable and collaborative approach.
