The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Continuous Construction Associate/Senior Associate with 3-6 years' PQE to join a highly regarded Construction Disputes team within a leading London practice.

The role focuses exclusively on contentious construction matters and offers high-quality, engaging work.

You will advise clients on a broad range of construction disputes, including issues relating to defects, delay, loss and expense and contractual claims, acting across adjudication, arbitration and litigation. This position does not cover general commercial or real estate disputes, making it particularly well suited to a lawyer looking to further develop a specialist construction disputes practice.

You will work alongside two experienced and prestigious partners in a collaborative and supportive team environment, where they hold personal Chambers rankings, evidencing the quality running through the team.

You will be taking on and assisting the wider team with matters, playing an integral part in dispute strategy and delivery. The team is known for its pragmatic, solutions-driven approach and for providing all level of associates with meaningful responsibility, autonomy and direct client exposure.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An England & Wales qualified solicitor with 3-6 years PQE in Contentious Construction law (preferably with experience from a top-tier real estate or construction law firm).
  • Strong technical skills in Contentious Construction matters and a solid understanding of the UK Real Estate sector.
  • An excellent communicator with prospects to have strong client relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive approach to business development and a desire to contribute to the growth of the department.
  • Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision and take on a high degree of responsibility.
