Construction Associate | 1+ PQE | Top 15 International Firm | Manchester
This is an excellent opportunity for a Non Contentious Construction Associate with 1+ PQE to join a Top 15 international law firm in their Manchester office.
You will advise leading national and international clients on major UK infrastructure and development projects, working on complex and high value transactional construction matters. The Role
You will join a highly respected national Construction practice, working closely with partners and senior lawyers to advise a diverse client base that includes developers, contractors, funders, consultants and public sector organisations.
The role will involve advising across the full lifecycle of construction and infrastructure projects. You will draft, review and negotiate a range of construction contracts including NEC, JCT and bespoke agreements, while also advising on procurement strategies, project structuring and risk allocation.
You will support on large scale developments spanning sectors such as energy, transport, commercial real estate and public infrastructure.
The work will also include advising on professional appointments, collateral warranties, subcontracting arrangements and wider commercial project documentation, including joint ventures and framework agreements.
Associates in the team are given early responsibility and client exposure, while benefiting from strong mentorship within a collaborative and well structured national group.
This position is ideal for a junior construction lawyer seeking to develop high level technical expertise while building their profile within the Manchester market and the wider UK construction sector.
The Ideal Candidate
- You will be a solicitor with between 1 PQE and 5 years PQE and experience advising commercial clients. Experience within construction, real estate, commercial contracts or projects work would be advantageous.
