They're now looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ+) to join their growing team. The role will involve a varied caseload of commercial property work, with the option to take on some residential conveyancing depending on your background and interests. You'll step into an existing caseload of around 30 live matters, ensuring a smooth handover and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
The Role
You'll handle a range of matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant work, including leases and renewals
- Commercial refinancing and secured lending
- Property support for corporate transactions
- (Optional) Residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, and transfers of equity
You'll work closely with an experienced Senior Solicitor and a small team of consultants, while also mentoring paralegals and trainees within the department.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ+) with property law experience
- Ideally some commercial property exposure (not essential)
- Confident managing files independently with client contact
- A team player who values collaboration and client service
- Based within a commutable distance of Haywards Heath and happy to work from the office
