Commercial Litigation Solicitor (IP & Technology) | 2+ | Brighton

An excellent opportunity to join a leading South East disputes practice with a genuine specialism in IP, technology and TMT litigation. The role offers exposure to complex, high-value disputes typically seen at City firms, within a collaborative and high-performing regional platform.

The Role

You will sit within a specialist commercial litigation team handling sophisticated IP, technology and wider commercial disputes, working closely with highly ranked partners on headline matters.

• Complex commercial litigation including contractual, shareholder and corporate disputes

• IP and technology disputes covering trade marks, copyright, designs, confidential information and database rights

• Technology and IT contract disputes, including system failures and software implementation issues

• High Court and appellate work, including international and cross-border matters

• Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court applications

• Managing your own matters under supervision and contributing to larger team cases

• Direct client and counsel contact, with responsibility for strategy and case management

• Supporting junior lawyers and contributing to business development and thought leadership

About You

• 2-5 years' PQE in commercial litigation

• IP or technology disputes experience preferred but not essential

• Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules

• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail

• Commercial, pragmatic and collaborative

• Keen to develop long-term expertise in IP and technology litigation
