Commercial Litigation Solicitor | NQ | Fully Remote

This is not a conventional law-firm role. It is an opportunity to start your post-qualification career inside a disputes practice built around long-term client relationships, strategic litigation and a genuinely different way of working.
The Role
  • You will join a specialist commercial litigation team that acts as outsourced in-house counsel to retained clients, rather than taking one-off instructions.
  • Your work will span a wide range of commercial disputes, from early advisory issues through to complex, heavily contested litigation.
  • You will work closely with senior solicitors and barristers in a collaborative model, gaining early exposure to strategy, tactics and how cases are really won.
  • Matters are run end-to-end, meaning you see disputes develop over time rather than passing files from one stage to another.
  • With no billing pressure, your focus is on judgment, quality and outcomes.

The Right Background

  • Newly qualified, with training and experience gained at a strong regional, national or well-regarded in-house team.
  • Comfortable with responsibility early on and keen to develop as a commercial litigator through experience rather than hierarchy.
  • This structure will appeal to those motivated by the work itself, rather than a traditional associate-to-partner track.

Why This Is Different

  • Fully remote working, built into the model rather than added later.
  • No billable hours, no fee targets and no business development expectations.
  • Progression comes through trust, depth of involvement and technical development, not job titles.
  • High-quality disputes work in a setting designed to be sustainable long term.
