Commercial Litigation Solicitor
4+ PQE | Eastbourne | Long-established regional firm

Picture joining a firm where commercial litigation has been part of the story for decades. A place where local businesses, entrepreneurs and national clients turn when things get complicated, because they trust the people behind the name. This Eastbourne firm has built that trust over generations, earning a reputation for steady hands, sharp thinking and a genuine commitment to the community it serves.

Now the litigation team is entering its next chapter. They're looking for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor who's ready to step into a role with real substance, real variety and real influence.

The Role

You'll handle a varied and interesting caseload from day one. Expect to advise on

  • Sale of goods and services disputes
  • Breach of contract matters
  • Debt recovery
  • Business ownership and partnership disputes
  • Regulatory and professional issues
  • Intellectual property matters

This isn't a team where files are kept at arm's length. You'll be involved in strategy, client conversations and the kind of detailed problem-solving that makes litigation work rewarding. You'll have space to bring ideas, take ownership and help shape the team's continued growth.

You'll be trusted to run your own cases while working alongside experienced litigators who value collaboration over hierarchy. If you enjoy variety and want a role where every week feels different, this will suit you.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years PQE in commercial litigation
  • Confidence managing files independently
  • A commercially minded approach and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Curiosity, initiative and a desire to contribute to practice growth
  • Clear, practical communication skills

Why This Firm

  • Long-established reputation: A trusted regional name with deep roots in the local business community.
  • Quality of work: A steady flow of varied, challenging disputes without the burnout culture of larger city firms.
  • Progression and development: Real investment in training, mentoring and long-term career routes.
  • Supportive environment: Friendly, down-to-earth people who look out for each other and celebrate success.
  • Stability and culture: A team that works hard, enjoys what they do and values balance and wellbeing.

If you want to join a firm where your work matters, your ideas are heard and your career can grow at a pace that suits you, get in touch for a confidential conversation.
