The Role

There is a natural leadership gap in this team and the firm are looking for the right person to fill it. Whether you are a Senior Associate ready to make the step up or already operating at partner level, this is a genuine opportunity to come in, run a high quality caseload and have real influence over how the team and department is shaped going forward.

You will work directly alongside the existing head of department on a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, restructuring and insolvency, banking and finance and more. The variety is intentional and means you can keep your hand in the areas of litigation you enjoy most, whilst also involving yourself in the wider strategy and business development of the team.

No following is required given the existing workflow, but an appetite for harnessing internal referrals and building relationships across the business will stand you in good stead.

About You

• 8+ years PQE in Commercial Litigation
• Strong technical knowledge across commercial disputes
• A strategic mindset with the ambition to lead and grow a team over time
