A long-established Surrey practice is gearing up for its next chapter and looking for a senior property solicitor who can grow into the future Head of Conveyancing. If you want a hands-on role with real progression, this is a strong opportunity.

You'll work full-time from their Leatherhead office (with hybrid on offer after probation), managing a mixed residential and commercial caseload and becoming a key figure in the department's development.

The work

You'll handle the full range of conveyancing and mortgage matters, including many of the more specialist areas that make the role genuinely interesting. Work includes lease extensions and enfranchisement, commercial and residential leases, development matters (options, overage, and statutory agreements), shared ownership, equity release, bridging loans, unregistered land, easements, freehold reversions and adverse possession. A solid understanding of SDLT and VAT in property transactions is important.

• You must be a qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in residential and commercial property
• Confident handling files independently and managing client expectations
• Practical, collaborative and able to slot into a small but ambitious team
