Well-Established Regional Firm | Residential Conveyancing Solicitor | NQ+
Build your career in residential conveyancing within a growing, quality-focused firm, handling a varied caseload from freehold sales to new build purchases, with direct supervision from an experienced director in a friendly, expanding Kent office.
The Firm
This is a well-established, highly regarded high street firm with a strong local reputation and multiple offices across the country. The firm takes a deliberate approach to growth: it is expanding sustainably, not chasing volume for its own sake. The focus is on quality work, sensible caseloads, strong client care, and long-term career development.
The culture is modern, approachable, and genuinely supportive. Leadership is accessible, colleagues work collaboratively, and the firm values contribution over hierarchy. With recent investment backing its growth plans, this is a stable, ambitious platform for someone who wants to build their career and be properly valued, not just a number on a conveyancing panel.
The Role
Based in the Rainham office in Kent, you will work directly under the director who leads the office, managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload. The work is predominantly freehold sales and purchases, with a smaller proportion of leasehold matters and occasional new build purchases. You will also handle right to buy transactions, shared ownership matters, transfers of equity, and remortgages.
You will take ownership of files from instruction through to completion, supported by an experienced local team. Client contact is central to the role; the firm prides itself on delivering a smooth, stress-free service, building long-term relationships, and being the firm that clients and agents return to. As a newly qualified or early-career lawyer, you will receive direct mentoring and the kind of hands-on experience that builds real confidence and technical depth.
The Ideal Candidate
- Newly qualified solicitor or experienced Licensed Conveyancer with strong residential conveyancing experience
- Confident managing a mixed caseload including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, with familiarity in new build, right to buy, shared ownership, transfers of equity, and remortgages
- Excellent client care and communication skills, with a calm, organised, and proactive approach
- A positive, team-focused attitude; someone who takes pride in delivering a great service
- Comfortable working with case management systems and committed to maintaining the firm's high standards
- Ambition to grow with the firm and contribute to the success of the Kent office
What's on Offer
- A quality-focused conveyancing role in a firm that values client care over volume
- Direct supervision and mentoring from an experienced director
- A supportive, friendly, and approachable team environment
- Opportunity to play a meaningful part in the growth of an expanding Kent office
