They don't need you to have retirement living experience. They need someone who's solid at residential conveyancing, communicates brilliantly, and is willing to learn a specialist niche with full training provided.

The Work

You'll handle your own caseload of residential conveyancing, with a focus on the retirement living sector once trained:

• Sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold)
• Re-mortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions
• Often acting on both sides of a move (existing property sale + retirement property purchase)
• Time-sensitive transactions where communication and organisation are critical

The client demographic skews older, so excellent telephone manner and the ability to explain legal complexities clearly are essential.

About You

• 1 to 5 years PQE as a Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer)
• Strong residential conveyancing foundation
• First-class communication and client care skills
• Good time management (this work moves quickly)
• Comfortable with Excel, case management systems, and hitting financial targets
• Willing to specialise in retirement living with full support and training
