Senior Associate | Residential Property | Bath
Growth is easy to talk about. Sustained growth, with the right structure around it, is much harder to find.
This team has delivered exactly that.
Following a year of over 30% growth, a well-established Residential Property team in Bath is looking to add a Senior
Associate into a genuinely settled and high-performing environment. This isn't a rebuild or a gap-fill it's a considered hire into a team that already works, with the capacity and workflow to support it.
The opportunity
You'll step into a role where the fundamentals are already in place. Strong pipeline of work, a balanced team structure, and the support systems that allow you to focus on delivery rather than firefighting.
The caseload is varied. You'll handle a mix of standard conveyancing and more bespoke residential matters, with flexibility around volume and complexity depending on your experience and preferences. There's no expectation to operate as a pure volume fee earner unless that's what you want.
You'll also have the opportunity to build your own client relationships over time. There's an existing flow of work, so this isn't dependent on you bringing contacts, but there is scope to develop a profile if that's something you're motivated by.
The team
This is where the role differentiates itself.
You'll be joining a sizeable team with a strong balance between fee earners and support staff, including dedicated completions resource. Work is structured properly, often within smaller sub-teams, meaning you're not operating in isolation or carrying unnecessary admin burden.
It's a team where people tend to stay. There's a collaborative dynamic, knowledge is shared, and support is visible day-to-day not just something referenced in job specs.
The role is predominantly office-based in Bath, which reflects how the team functions best accessible, communicative, and cohesive.
What they're looking for
- A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEx with solid residential property experience
- Someone confident running their own caseload and managing client relationships directly
- An organised, commercially aware approach to managing transactions
- A team-focused individual who values working in a collaborative environment
- An openness to being involved in business development, without pressure to bring a following
Why this role
There are plenty of residential property roles offering "good work" or "supportive teams". Fewer can point to consistent growth, low attrition, and a structure that genuinely supports how people work day-to-day.
If you're looking to move into a team where the quality of environment matches the quality of work, this is a strong option.
