Real Estate Senior Associate | Bristol
There's a reason most "growth roles" don't quite land. You either get the platform without the work, or the work without the real opportunity to shape anything.
This is one of the few where both are already in place.
A well-established Real Estate team has recently expanded into Bristol, creating a rare opportunity to join an already successful and credible group in a relatively new office. The quality of work, clients and internal reputation is already there what's missing is the next layer of senior lawyers who want to be part of building something locally, without the risk that usually comes with it.
You're not joining a start-up team. You're joining an established practice with strong relationships across development, investment, property finance and occupier work, now being driven forward in the Bristol market.
The role itself is broad and commercially focused. You'll run your own matters with autonomy, while also being involved in more strategic client relationships and cross-team projects spanning construction, planning and property disputes. There's proper depth to the work, and real variety in the client base.
What makes this particularly compelling is the trajectory. The office is still in a growth phase, which means visibility, quicker progression, and the opportunity to genuinely influence how the team develops locally. You'll be expected to build your own network, contribute to business development, and play a key role in shaping the Bristol offering but with the full backing, infrastructure and credibility of an established wider team.
Internally, you'll take on a senior position mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to team strategy, and helping drive standards across the group. This isn't a "sit back and deliver" role it's one where your input will be seen and valued.
They're looking for:
- A qualified solicitor with 6+ years' PQE
- Strong experience across commercial property matters
- Confidence managing your own caseload and contributing to more complex transactions
- A track record of, or clear appetite for, business development and client growth
- Someone who wants to be part of building something in a key regional market
Experience in sectors such as health and social care real estate would be beneficial, but not essential.
The wider firm is a Top 100 with a strong reputation across the South West, Thames Valley and London. The difference here is how they've approached Bristol combining an established, high-performing team with the opportunity and energy of a newer office.
If you're at the point where you want high-quality work, genuine progression, and the chance to be part of something that's still growing without sacrificing stability this is a standout opportunity.
