Real Estate Senior Associate | Swindon
There's a difference between stepping into a role and stepping into a position where you can genuinely influence a team.
This is the latter.
A well-established Commercial Property team in Swindon is looking to appoint a Senior Associate to play a central role in its continued growth. The work is already there, the client base is established, and the Head of Department is looking for someone who can operate as a true number two someone who can take ownership, build relationships, and help drive the team forward.
You'll be running a broad mix of commercial property matters, acting for a range of clients across sectors. Day-to-day, you'll have the autonomy to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, while also being brought into more significant client relationships and strategic pieces of work where your input genuinely matters.
What makes this stand out is the platform around the role. There is a clear expectation that you'll build your own profile in the market developing relationships with referrers, generating new work, and contributing to the wider business plan. This isn't a box-ticking exercise; it's a real opportunity to grow something with backing behind you.
Internally, you'll be a key figure in the team. Supporting and supervising junior lawyers, helping shape how work is delivered, and working closely with leadership to maintain and elevate standards across the department.
They're looking for:
- A qualified solicitor with 7+ years' PQE
- Strong experience across a range of commercial property matters
- Confidence running files independently and making sound commercial decisions
- A track record of, or clear appetite for, business development and client growth
- Someone who wants to be visible, both within the team and in the wider market
The firm itself is a well-regarded Top 100 with a strong presence across the region and a clear growth trajectory. The infrastructure is there, the quality of work is consistent, and there's a genuine opportunity to step into a role where you're not just delivering work you're helping shape what comes next.
If you're at the stage where you want more influence, more visibility, and a clearer route to progression without needing to take a premature leap this is worth exploring.
