Property Litigation Solicitor or Associate | 1+ PQE | Tunbridge Wells

A Chambers and Legal 500-recognised property litigation team in Tunbridge Wells is looking for a solicitor ready to step up from basic junior work and handle meaningful property disputes. You'll work on high-quality matters for developers, investors, charities, and private clients, the kind of work that builds real expertise.

The team is known for appearing regularly in the High Court and County Court. They're described by clients as "extremely experienced, versatile, and responsive." You'll be part of that, learning from the best while handling your own cases from the outset.

The Work

You'll handle a broad range of property litigation:

  • Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes
  • Service charge and boundary disagreements
  • Adverse possession, rights of way, and title issues
  • Enfranchisement and lease extension claims
  • Possession proceedings and development-related disputes

This isn't support work. You'll have direct client contact, real responsibility, and meaningful exposure to complex property matters. The mentoring is structured and genuine, not ad hoc supervision.

About You

  • Property Litigation / Real Estate Litigation Solicitor with 1+ PQE (likely up to 6 years PQE, although more senior candidates are also encouraged to apply)
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with ability to deliver clear, practical advice
  • Excellent communication and genuine confidence dealing with clients
  • Organised, proactive, able to manage competing priorities
  • Team player who wants to grow in a collaborative environment

What's On Offer

  • High-quality, city-level work in a regional setting
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture with genuine career progression
  • Structured training and mentoring for junior lawyers (not just throwing you in)
  • Modern, flexible working arrangements with real work-life balance
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Direct client contact and early responsibility
  • Support to develop both technical and commercial skills

Why This Works

This team is genuinely recognised. Chambers rankings, Legal 500 recognition, regular High Court appearances, that's not marketing. That's a practice that's genuinely good.

You'll learn from experienced lawyers who understand that proper development builds better lawyers. The structured mentoring, direct client contact, and early responsibility are deliberate. It's how expertise actually develops.

The emphasis on technical excellence, cost-effective solutions, and personable client service isn't just how they describe themselves, it's how they actually work. You'll experience that from day one.

If you want property litigation work that's genuinely interesting, with mentorship that's genuinely supportive, and a team that actually values developing junior lawyers, this is it.
