Property Litigation Solicitor | 2+ PQE | Southampton

A leading full service regional firm in the South, with a collaborative culture, a growing dispute resolution team, and a strong reputation for property litigation, is looking for a 2+ PQE solicitor to join its Southampton office.

The Role

  • Manage your own caseload of property litigation matters, acting for developers, retail chains, commercial property owners, agents, residential landlords and private individuals
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team on larger or more complex disputes
  • Handle the full range: commercial landlord & tenant (break notices, forfeiture, dilapidations, lease renewals), possession and rent recovery, boundary/easement disputes, adverse possession, leasehold enfranchisement, and property related professional negligence
  • Advise on legal procedures and strategy, always with a commercial, client focused approach
  • Keep up to date with changes in the law, including emerging areas like AI in legal services

What You Bring

  • 2+ years' PQE in property litigation
  • The ability to manage your own caseload effectively, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, you can explain complex disputes clearly to clients
  • A client focused, proactive approach. You take ownership and accountability for your work
  • Experience in collective enfranchisement or telecoms code disputes would be an advantage, but is not essential

The Firm

  • One of the South's leading full service firms, with offices across the South
  • A clear strategy focused on client experience and inspiring people to reach their full potential
  • Recognised for its supportive culture, wellbeing programmes, and flexibility
  • A place where property litigation is a strength, not a side line

Why This Makes Sense
At 2+ PQE, you have the technical foundation. The question is whether you stay in a firm where property litigation is an afterthought, or move to a team where it is a core discipline with real partner investment.

This role offers the latter. You will get a varied, high quality caseload. You will work alongside experienced partners and senior associates who will develop you.

If you want to build a career in property litigation with a firm that backs its people, this is the move.
