Commercial Property Litigation Associate | 2+ PQE | Taunton or Yeovil

A well-established Legal 500 firm with deep roots across the South West is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Litigation Associate into its growing team, based in either Taunton or Yeovil.

With a heritage spanning decades, the firm has built an outstanding reputation for high-quality work, long-standing client relationships and a people-first culture. More recently, it has entered an exciting new chapter of growth, including the opening of a new office in a major city, further strengthening its presence across the region and creating excellent opportunities for ambitious lawyers looking to develop their careers.

You'll join a respected Property Litigation team handling a broad range of commercial disputes, advising an established client base of businesses, landowners, developers and commercial landlords. Matters include commercial lease disputes, forfeiture, rent recovery, dilapidations, business lease renewals, easements, rights of way, boundary and ownership disputes, landlord and tenant issues, and wider real estate litigation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 2+ years' PQE who enjoys high-quality work but is looking for a firm where you'll be recognised as an individual rather than just another number. You'll have genuine responsibility from day one, direct client contact and the chance to play a visible role in the continued growth of the team, with plenty of support from experienced colleagues as you continue to develop.

The firm is looking for someone commercially minded, personable and keen to build lasting client relationships. Business development is encouraged, but you'll be supported by an established network and collaborative partners who are invested in helping you grow your practice.

What really sets this opportunity apart is the culture. While the firm is recognised in the Legal 500 and continues to expand, it has retained the approachable, collaborative feel often associated with much smaller firms. Decisions are made quickly, partners remain accessible and career progression is based on merit rather than waiting for someone else to move on.

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll benefit from hybrid working, an annual bonus, private healthcare, enhanced holiday entitlement and a flexible approach that supports both career progression and work-life balance.

If you're looking to join a heritage firm with real momentum, excellent quality work and a culture that genuinely values its people, this is an opportunity well worth exploring.
