Head of Department Role:

Senior Private Client Solicitor:

Work alongside the Head of Department and experienced team members, handling sophisticated Private Client matters while contributing to the department's continued growth and development. Clear progression pathway with genuine partnership potential.

The Work

You'll handle the full range of sophisticated Private Client matters:

• Probate: estate administration, contentious probate, complex estates
• Wills: estate planning, Advance Directives, tax-efficient structuring
• Lasting Powers of Attorney: preparation, advice, registration
• Client relationships built on trust, expertise, and genuine care

The work is substantial, varied, and built on a client base that's been loyal for generations.

You

For Head of Department:

• Experienced Private Client Solicitor with strong track record managing complex matters
• Leadership capability and genuine desire to shape a practice
• Strategic mindset with commercial awareness
• Proven ability to develop and mentor lawyers
• Ready for full partnership with appropriate backing
• Ideally 6+ years PQE with senior-level experience

For Senior Private Client Solicitor:

• Solid Private Client experience (5+ PQE ideal)
• Strong technical grounding across probate, wills, LPAs, and OPG work
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Collaborative mindset with genuine interest in practice development
• Ambitious about career progression
