Well-Established Regional Firm | Private Client Solicitor | NQ+

Join a respected, growing firm with a strong local reputation, where you will manage your own private client caseload with autonomy, supported by a friendly, collaborative team that values quality over volume.

The Firm
This is a well-established, highly regarded firm with offices across the country. It has earned a strong local reputation through quality work, excellent client care, and long-standing referral relationships. The firm is growing, but deliberately not becoming a high-volume factory, with the clear focus is on sensible caseloads, good people, and long-term career development.

The culture is modern, approachable, and supportive. Leadership is accessible, colleagues work collaboratively, and the firm takes pride in celebrating contribution and success. With investment backing its growth plans, this is a stable, ambitious platform for someone who wants to build a career and be properly valued.

The Role
Based in the Kent office, you will manage a varied private client caseload including wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and inheritance tax planning. You will run your own files independently, building trusted long-term relationships with clients and guiding them through important personal matters with empathy and professionalism.

You will be part of a close-knit Kent team, with support from the wider firm. There is real opportunity to shape and grow the private client offering locally, responding to strong client demand. The firm values practical, organised lawyers who take pride in delivering a personal, high-quality service.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Strong experience across wills, probate, estate administration, LPAs, trusts, and inheritance tax planning
  • Confident running files independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent client care and communication skills, with a calm, empathetic, and organised approach
  • A proactive team player who takes pride in building long-term client relationships
  • STEP qualification or progress towards it is welcome but not essential

What's on Offer

  • Autonomy and hands-on client exposure from day one
  • A quality-focused caseload in a firm that values client care over volume
  • A supportive, friendly team with accessible leadership
  • Opportunities to help shape the growth of the Kent private client offering
  • Competitive salary with transparency around progression and responsibility
  • A stable, ambitious firm where your contribution will be recognised and valued
