The Role & The Work
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing Private Client team at a pivotal stage in its development, where your role can be shaped around your experience, ambition and long-term career goals.

Whether you are a junior solicitor building your experience or a more senior lawyer looking to step up, you will become part of a team trusted by generations of families, business owners and high-net-worth individuals across Scotland.

You will handle a broad and high-quality Private Client caseload, advising on wills, powers of attorney, executry administration, trusts and succession planning. The work is often complex and relationship-driven, requiring a thoughtful and commercially aware approach, with a strong emphasis on long-term client care.

From the outset, you will play a visible role within the team, managing client relationships, taking ownership of matters and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. For more senior candidates, there is genuine scope to shape the direction of the team, support junior lawyers and drive business development initiatives.

Your Experience

• Solicitor with strong experience in Private Client work
• Strong technical expertise across wills, executries, trusts and succession planning
• Experience managing your own caseload and client relationships
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused and empathetic approach
• An interest in contributing to team growth and development
• STEP qualification is desirable
