This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take on a leadership role within a well-established regional law firm that is investing in the long-term growth of its private client offering.

With the opportunity to help the Partner in shaping the team going forwards, this role will suit an experienced Solicitor who values quality work, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact, rather than operating within a rigid corporate structure.

The Role

The firm is seeking a Private Client Senior Associate to join its office in Shropshire, where there is a clear scope for senior leadership to really shape the team going forwards.

You will manage a caseload of your own private client matters for HNW individuals and families, and play a role in shaping the private client as they grow further. You will work alongside the Partner who heads up the wider department. While this particular team is currently small, there is a strong commitment to growing it over time.

The role will involve:

• Leading on a broad range of private client matters for high-net-worth individuals, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and succession work
• Acting as a senior point of contact within the office for private client matters
• Providing guidance and informal mentoring to more junior lawyers as the team grows
• Playing an active role in business development, networking, and client relationship management

About You

• A Private Client Solicitor with at least 5 PQE
• STEP qualification would be ideal
