The Role & The Work
Upon joining this Tier 1 ranked Real Estate team, you will step into a position at the forefront of the market, working on high-profile, top-tier transactions for an enviable client base across Scotland and the wider UK.

Based in the heart of Edinburgh, you will gain exposure to a national platform, collaborating with leading lawyers and building connections across the UK. This is a rare opportunity to begin your career within a Top 50 environment that is deeply invested in developing exceptional legal talent.

You will become part of a large, well-established and highly regarded team, consistently recognised by the L500 and known for delivering excellence across a broad spectrum of real estate matters. From day one, you will be immersed in a diverse and high-quality caseload, working with clients ranging from FTSE 100 companies and household names to SMEs and major investors.

Your work will span the full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions. You will be involved in investment acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing for both landlords and tenants, and asset management work across a variety of sectors. You'll also support on property development projects and real estate finance matters, liaising with lenders and stakeholders on complex transactions.

The breadth of work will expose you to key growth sectors including renewables and energy infrastructure, hospitality & leisure, and many other sectors, giving you a broad and future-focused skillset aligned with the evolving Scottish property market.

Working closely with leading partners and recognised experts in the field, you will receive hands-on mentorship while developing the confidence to take ownership of your own matters. As your experience grows, you will manage transactions from instruction through to completion, drafting key documents, negotiating terms and building strong client relationships.

Your Experience

• Trainee Solicitor or qualified Solicitor, qualifying in 2026 or NQ-2 PQE, with solid experience in Scottish Real Estate
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Ambition to develop within a top-tier, high-performing team
