The Team

Clients include FTSE 100 companies, international developers, utilities, and public sector bodies. The team is known for its technical depth, practical advice, and ability to manage procurement strategy, contract drafting, and risk allocation on landmark mandates.

The Role
Based in Manchester, you will work as part of a close-knit team of specialists, advising on the full range of front-end construction matters. You will draft and negotiate construction documentation, advise on procurement and risk allocation, and support clients through the lifecycle of major projects. You will have early client contact, be mentored by leading partners, and be given the autonomy to manage workstreams appropriate to your experience.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified solicitor with 2+ years' PQE in non-contentious construction law
  • Strong drafting skills and a solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement
  • Experience advising clients in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, or real estate
  • Commercially minded, with excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • A proactive team player who thrives on technically challenging work and values mentorship
