The Team
The dispute resolution team is broad and commercially grounded, handling a wide mix of matters for local authorities, government agencies, landed estates, national companies, charities, trustees, family businesses, and individuals. The practice spans commercial disputes, construction litigation, property and land disputes, contentious trusts and probate, insolvency, and employment-related litigation.

The team is known for its practical, cost-effective approach, using mediation and arbitration where possible but with full litigation capability when required. You will work closely with experienced partners and associates who are committed to sharing their knowledge and developing junior talent.

The Role
As a litigation paralegal, you will be immersed in a wide-ranging disputes caseload from day one. You will assist fee earners across commercial, property, and private client litigation, carrying out research, drafting documents, attending client meetings, and managing your own files under supervision as you progress. This breadth of exposure is deliberate: the firm believes that experiencing multiple areas of disputes early on equips you to make an informed choice about your specialism when you qualify.

The firm will fully fund your SQE studies and provide support and supervision throughout your training. This is a structured pathway to qualification, designed to develop you into a well-rounded, commercially sharp solicitor with a strong foundation in litigation. For the right candidate, qualification leads directly into a permanent associate role within the team.

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 1 year Paralegal experience from a local firm

• An interest in dispute resolution, with a commercial and practical mindset

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the confidence to take on responsibility

• A collaborative team player who aligns with the firm's values and culture
