Legal & Operations Assistant - LegalTech
Full-time | Fully Remote
Join one of the legal sector's most respected knowledge-management software providers; an established SME with a genuinely startup-like culture. Well known for powering market and business-development intelligence for law firms, this company is expanding its US footprint, growing its mid-tier client base, and embarking on a major project to integrate AI into its core platform.
If you're a sharp, detail-obsessed law graduate who prefers building and running things over the traditional solicitor route, this is a great opportunity to build your career in the technology sector.
The Role
- Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll operate across legal, operations, finance, HR, and compliance - becoming a trusted "right-hand" who helps keep the company running smoothly.
- You'll work with the tools that power the business, including Claude AI, Monday.com, and PandaDocs, while also taking ownership of core operational processes.
- This role offers exposure that most graduates don't see for years.
Key Responsibilities
Legal & Contract Work
- You will prepare, review, and manage: NDAs, Employment Contracts, Commercial Agreements, Data Protection Policies and other legal documentation.
- You will oversee client and supplier contract administration
- You will coordinate with external counsel when specialist input is required.
Operations & Internal Support
- You will maintain internal processes, documentation, and company policies
- You will collaborate with the Head of Technology on compliance and information-security tasks
- You will support HR/Operations with people processes and internal coordination
- You will work with Xero to take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and assist with basic invoicing and financial administration
Your Profile
- You hold a law degree from a leading university with an excellent prior academic record
- You are commercially-driven, and you're looking to build a long-term career in business, rather than the traditional private-practice world
- You are tech-savvy, curious, organised and able to pick up new tools & solve problems quickly
- You are a team player with excellent communication skill
- You are detail-driven with and have a process mindset
- You are capable and happy when working independently as part of a remote team
