The Role
You will lead the insolvency and restructuring practice, taking on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work. You will advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, corporates, directors, and other stakeholders on the full range of restructuring, turnaround, and formal insolvency mandates.
You will be expected to play a visible leadership role, actively contributing to business development, mentoring junior lawyers, and shaping the strategic direction of the practice. There is a clear path to equity and a seat at the leadership table for the right candidate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified solicitor, either at LD/Partner level, or an experienced Senior Associate looking to take the step up
- Strong technical grounding across both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring
- A portable practice or the clear ability to generate work through existing relationships and business development activity
- A commercially minded, entrepreneurial approach, comfortable leading from the front
- A collaborative style; someone who will contribute positively to the firm's culture and invest in developing others
- Ambitious, but grounded, looking for the right long-term platform rather than a quick move
