A highly regarded regional law firm is looking to strengthen its Swindon Family team with a Family Solicitor at 2+ PQE.

This is a role for someone who wants to do more than simply manage a caseload. You'll have the opportunity to take real ownership of your matters, develop long-standing relationships with clients and build your own profile within the Swindon market, while having the support of an established and experienced team around you.

The role

You'll manage a varied private Family caseload, covering areas including:

• Divorce
• Financial matters
• Children work
• Cohabitation disputes
• Pre and post-nuptial agreements
• Wider private Family matters

The team has a busy and technically interesting workload, so you'll need to be comfortable working at pace and managing your own files, while maintaining the high level of client care the firm is known for.

Importantly, this isn't purely a fee-earning role. You'll be encouraged to develop your own client relationships, build your network and raise your profile in the local market.

For someone who is commercially minded and wants to develop their career alongside their technical expertise, there is plenty of scope to make the role your own.

What are they looking for?

You'll ideally be a Family Solicitor with 2+ PQE, with solid experience across a broad range of private Family matters.

You'll be someone who:

• Is confident managing their own caseload from start to finish
• Enjoys working directly with clients and building trusted relationships
• Has strong technical knowledge across private Family work
• Is commercially aware and interested in developing their own client base
• Communicates clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
• Is organised, proactive and takes ownership of their work
• Can remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging or sensitive situations
• Enjoys being part of a collaborative team while having the independence to manage their own workload

Resolution or Law Society Family Panel membership would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
