The Role & The Work
This is a standout opportunity for an English and Welsh Qualified Family Solicitor to relocate to Edinburgh and join a Tier 2-ranked Family team with a well-established English law offering. This is an opportunity where you will be handling high-quality and often complex matters across cross-border jurisdictions.

You will step into a role where the work is already strong and the client base is well-developed. Acting for a diverse range of clients, you will advise on financial remedy and children matters, many with a cross-border element, delivering clear, strategic and empathetic advice throughout.

From the outset, you will take ownership of your own caseload, managing matters from instruction through to resolution, while building long-term client relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted adviser.

The team operates in a collaborative and supportive way, meaning you'll have the autonomy to grow your practice, backed by experienced colleagues who are invested in your development.

There is clear scope to play a role in the continued growth of the English family law offering, whether through mentoring junior team members, contributing to internal knowledge or supporting business development initiatives.

Your Experience

  • English Qualified Family Solicitor (3+ PQE)
  • Strong experience in Family Law
  • Experience managing your own caseload independently
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • A proactive, collaborative and commercially aware approach
  • An interest in relocating to Edinburgh and building a long-term career
