A leading South West law firm is continuing to invest in its Employment team and is looking to appoint a solicitor to join its established Bristol office. You'll advise a broad mix of employers and senior individuals, giving you exposure to both contentious and non-contentious work from day one.
The team has built an excellent reputation for combining technical expertise with pragmatic, commercial advice, acting for businesses ranging from owner-managed companies through to large national organisations across a variety of sectors.
The Role
You'll manage your own caseload whilst working closely with experienced senior lawyers on more complex matters, advising on:
- Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims
- TUPE, restructures and redundancy exercises
- Employment contracts, policies and handbooks
- Settlement agreements and senior exits
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Employment Tribunal litigation from initial instruction through to final hearing
- Employment support on corporate transactions
Alongside fee-earning, you'll have the opportunity to become involved in business development, client events and marketing initiatives, helping to continue the team's impressive growth across the region.

- Qualified Solicitor with employment law experience
- Able to manage your own files with appropriate supervision
- Strong client relationship skills and commercial awareness
- Someone who enjoys building relationships both internally and externally
