Court of Protection Solicitor | Associate | 2+ PQE | Brain Injury Experience Essential

You'll be joining a large, nationally recognised Court of Protection team that handles high-value, often life-changing matters for vulnerable clients. The work is substantial, the support is strong, and the long-term progression is clear.
This is an opportunity to step into a team that is trusted by leading personal injury and clinical negligence specialists, with a steady stream of complex brain injury matters forming the backbone of the workload.

The opportunity

You'll work as part of a well-structured Court of Protection team with deep experience in supporting clients who have suffered serious brain injuries.

Expect to be involved in:

  • Supporting professional deputies acting for clients with brain injuries
  • Managing property and affairs matters for vulnerable individuals
  • Working closely with families, case managers and medical professionals
  • Assisting with statutory wills, lifetime gifts and deputyship applications
  • Supporting the setup and ongoing management of personal injury trusts
  • Advising on capacity issues and complex financial decision-making
  • Assisting with matters linked to high-value personal injury awards

You'll gain exposure to complex, high-value cases early, working alongside experienced lawyers who are known for their technical strength and client care.

About you

  • Court of Protection Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE
  • Solid experience in property and affairs matters
  • Brain injury experience is essential
  • Empathetic, organised and comfortable working with vulnerable clients and their families
  • Keen to build long-term expertise in complex Court of Protection work
