A well-established, full-service firm with a strong South East presence is on the hunt for their latest Partner. They have built a loyal client base over decades. They have a partner leading the litigation team who is busy, respected, and doing good work. What they do not have is someone alongside them who can share the load, share the room, and help grow the disputes practice locally.
From week one, you are the partner attending mediations, meeting local solicitors who need litigation support, building a profile that belongs to you, with an established partner beside you, not above you.
What Makes This Different
This is not about inheriting a full caseload of existing files. It is about building, with backing.
- You will run your own disputes, contract, shareholder, professional negligence, property-related litigation, insolvency, the full range of commercial work that comes through a busy regional firm
- You will work alongside the existing litigation partner on BD: meeting local accountants, surveyors, smaller firms who need advocacy support, making yourself the person they call
- You will have the firm's reputation behind you, but the freedom to build your own following
- You will help shape the Dorking disputes offering as the office grows
What You Bring
- 10+ years' PQE in commercial litigation, with solid technical foundations and the confidence to run your own files
- A practical, commercially aware approach, you know when to fight and when to settle
