You'll join a practice genuinely recognised as one of the UK's best, handling complex, high-value claims that make a real difference to clients navigating the most challenging times of their lives.
This isn't volume work. It's obstetric injuries, delayed diagnoses, fatal claims, inquests, cases where your legal skill directly impacts someone's future, their family's wellbeing, and their ability to rebuild.
The Team
You'll work alongside highly respected leaders in the field, partners renowned for their expertise in birth injuries, meningitis claims, fatal cases, and high-value clinical negligence litigation. The team is collaborative, compassionate, and genuinely invested in developing its lawyers while delivering the best outcomes for clients.

The Work
You'll handle meaningful, complex clinical negligence claims:
- Manage your own caseload, including litigated matters (experience-dependent)
- Assist senior colleagues on high-value, complex claims across obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology, and psychiatric care
- Take instructions from clients and deliver consistently accurate, compassionate legal advice
- Work collaboratively across the firm to deliver seamless, high-quality service
- Support clients through inquests, settlements, and trial where needed
This is hands-on claimant work where empathy, technical excellence, and strategic thinking all matter equally.
You
- Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 1-6 PQE (Claimant experience essential)
- Proven experience managing your own caseload, or strong grounding ready to take on more responsibility
- Ability to take instructions, give sound legal advice, and build trust with vulnerable clients
- Experience assisting on high-value, complex cases (for more senior candidates)
- Can operate independently while working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
- Technically excellent with genuine empathy and compassion
