The role

The firm is seeking to hire a Senior Construction Solicitor to join the firms West End office.

You will work as part of a growing Real Estate team of 25 across the firms two offices.

The Construction department deals with an excellent quality of work across a wide range of industry sectors. The construction lawyers do tend to deal with a mixture of contentious and non-contentious. You will work closely with the firms successful real estate department.

• The firm are happy to look at construction solicitors from either contentious or non-contentious backgrounds, if you might be looking to handle a mixed caseload or specialise in one side, I would urge you to apply as the firm are open minded.
• You will have the opportunity to get involved in client contact and business development activities
• You will work as part of a friendly, supportive and professional department
• The department currently has an influx of new construction work.
• The work will include, but not be limited to; negotiating building contracts, contracts, terms of engagement, terms of engagement and warranties.

Requirements

• You will be a Construction Solicitor with at least five years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of PQE)
• You will have first-class communication skills
• You should be able to build relationships and develop business
• You will receive a leading remuneration package that is dependent and tailored to your level of experience and background
