Are you a Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career within a growing team with ambitious plans and a strong pipeline of work?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded London practice investing significantly in its Restructuring & Insolvency team, offering high-quality work, close collaboration with experienced Partners and the opportunity to play a key role in the team's continued growth.
The Firm:
This Top 50 UK law firm has built a strong reputation across a broad range of practice areas, advising an impressive client base of businesses, financial institutions, investors and individuals on complex domestic and international matters.
The firm is committed to developing its people and providing a collaborative environment where lawyers can build their expertise, work closely with experienced colleagues and progress their careers.
Its Restructuring & Insolvency team is an established practice with a strong pipeline of work and ambitious plans for further growth. Following a recent senior Partner hire from a highly regarded US law firm, the team is making a significant investment in its future and looking to strengthen its capabilities at mid and senior levels.
This creates an excellent opportunity to join a team at an important stage in its development, working alongside highly regarded Partners and contributing to the next phase of its growth.
The Role:
An opportunity for a mid-level or senior Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor to join a growing team, with a primarily non-contentious focus and exposure to a broad range of complex restructuring and insolvency matters.
You will work closely with experienced Partners on high-quality domestic and international matters, advising clients on financially distressed situations, restructuring options and transactions designed to protect or maximise value.
Your work may include:
- Advising on financial and corporate restructurings.
- Supporting refinancing transactions and complex debt arrangements.
- Working on distressed situations and advising clients on available options.
- Advising on corporate reorganisations and insolvency-related transactions.
- Assisting lenders, borrowers, companies and other stakeholders navigating financial difficulties.
- Working on matters involving cross-border and international elements.
- Collaborating with colleagues across other practice areas on complex restructuring mandates.
- Building and developing client relationships alongside senior members of the team.
The role is primarily non-contentious, making it particularly suited to candidates with an advisory and transactional R&I background. However, the firm would also consider a solicitor with a contentious Restructuring & Insolvency background who is interested in moving towards more advisory and non-contentious work.
With ambitious growth plans and a recent senior Partner appointment, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers, develop your technical expertise and contribute to the continued expansion of the practice.

- Join a Top 50 UK law firm making a significant investment in its Restructuring & Insolvency practice.
- Become part of a team with an established pipeline of work and ambitious growth plans.
- Work closely with highly regarded Partners, including a recent senior hire from a leading US law firm.

- Play an active role in the team's continued development.
- Benefit from strong mentoring, career development and progression opportunities.
- Opportunity for contentious R&I lawyers looking to transition into advisory and non-contentious work.
Requirements:
- Solicitor with 3+ PQE (England & Wales) with experience in Restructuring & Insolvency.
- Experience in non-contentious R&I, financial restructuring, corporate restructuring or refinancing.
- A contentious R&I background will also be considered for candidates keen to develop their advisory and non-contentious expertise.
- Experience advising on distressed situations, insolvency-related transactions or complex restructuring matters.
- Strong technical, analytical and commercial skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A collaborative approach and an interest in contributing to a growing practice.
