Senior Residential Conveyancer | 5+ Years PQE | Established Regional Firm | Manchester

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well established firm from their Manchester base in a senior role.

The Firm

This is an established firm with a presence across the UK, including a Manchester office that is looking to strengthen its Residential Property offering with a senior hire. The firm acts for a broad mix of private clients, and the work is steady, varied and well supported.

The culture is professional and approachable. The firm values flexibility, offers hybrid working as standard and takes training and development seriously, with a structured annual appraisal process so progression and feedback are never left to chance.

The Role

You will join the Manchester team as a Senior Conveyancing Solicitor, running your own caseload of residential matters with a high degree of autonomy. At this level you will be the person colleagues turn to for technical guidance, and you will be trusted to manage files from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.

The work covers the full range of residential property transactions, including:

  • Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold property
  • Remortgages and transfers of equity
  • New build and developer transactions
  • Leasehold matters, including lease extensions
  • Complex titles and more unusual transactions

You will manage client relationships directly, keep matters moving to tight timelines and play an active part in supporting and guiding less experienced members of the team.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
  • Strong technical knowledge across freehold, leasehold and mortgage work
  • Confident running a large caseload independently with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong client communication skills and a pragmatic, solutions focused approach
  • Comfortable supporting and mentoring junior colleagues

What's on Offer

  • A senior role with autonomy and a varied caseload
  • Hybrid working
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with a birthday day off after one year of service
  • Private health plan and workplace pension scheme
  • Training and development opportunities with an annual appraisal
