The Role

As an Associate in the Manchester team, you will handle a varied Real Estate caseload with a particular focus on investment, development and asset management work. The transactions are high value, and the client base is serious.

At this level, the focus shifts from supporting transactions to running them, and you will be given the scope to make that step properly. You will be encouraged to build client relationships, contribute to business development and shape the direction your career takes, with strong support behind you while you do it.

Your work will include:

• Investment acquisitions and disposals across major asset classes

• Development projects and regeneration schemes

• Asset management, including landlord and tenant matters

• Alternative asset classes including student accommodation, hotels and leisure and PRS

• Running transactions from heads of terms through to completion

Your Experience

• 1-3 years PQE, trained in a recognised real estate department at a major or medium sized firm

• Technically strong, commercially aware, and confident dealing with clients

• Commercially orientated, with good business acumen and an appetite for innovation

• Ambition to succeed, with a commitment to business development and client relationship management

• Collaborative and proactive: someone who wants to be part of a high-performing, close-knit team

• Strong academic background, with the drive to meet demanding deadlines
